About
Long Story Short was founded in New York in 2020. In September 2022, the gallery opened a second space in the heart of Le Marais, Paris.
The program centers on emerging and mid-career artists working in painting, sculpture, and photography. The gallery tends to arrive early — at the precise moment when everything is still in play, when the trajectory remains uncertain and the stakes are real. Many exhibitions mark a first: an introduction to the Parisian scene, or sometimes a very first show altogether.
The curatorial proposition spans generations. Alongside younger artists, the gallery also works with cult figures and underrecognized voices whose work has been quietly shaping contemporary visual culture long before it was acknowledged as such. What connects them is neither a style nor a period. It is a point of view unafraid to take risks.
